Graeme Purple

Managing Director/Senior Engineer

Graeme has over 20 years experience in the IT industry and studied computers whilst at university in the 1980s. He is highly knowledgeable about all IT-related issues and ensures he stays one step-ahead of the ever-changing technology industry.

"When we [Deborah and I] setup the company in 1997, it was our vision to provide Londoners with a quality, reliable IT company, whether they were a small business or a home user. I am passionate about providing our clients with excellent customer service, and I am proud to say that we have clients who have been using us since the company started 13 years ago. This is because we know what our clients need now, and in the future, and know how to deliver a service they are happy with."

Deborah Purple

Operations Director

Deborah has over 15 years experience in the IT industry, and brings her extensive knowledge of marketing, HR and finance to the company.

"It was always my vision to run my own company; that's why I studied Business and Business Strategy at university. Backup faces many challenges in a constantly evolving environment, and it is my job to ensure that the company runs as smoothly as possible, ensuring our clients receive the highest quality service possible."

Alan Hardy

Senior Network Engineer

Alan has worked in IT for over 10 years, and enjoys the client-interaction his role as Network Engineer demands.

Jay Jani

Senior Home Engineer

Jay joined Backup over 5 years ago and is responsible for our Home User Division. He also supervises and trains the junior technicians in the company.

Natalija Sinisalo

Office Administrator

Natalija's role is pivotal to the smooth running of the company. She is responsible for appointment scheduling, customer liaison and accounts.

Val Drics

Senior Technician

Val, and his team of in-house technicians, is responsible for the hundreds of PCs and laptops that come in to our Workshop Repair Facility each year.

Paul Garrad

Sales Manager

Paul is responsible for advising on support contracts, banked-time, broadband/telephony and the purchasing of hardware and software.

Tony Sidhu

First Line Technical Support

Tony is our dedicated in-house technician with responsibility for telephone and remote technical support.
